Malta Passport Invitation

Malta is one of my favourite holiday destinations so I loved creating this unique Malta Passport Invitation for Kristin and Paul's Maltese Wedding.

They specified they would like a traditional maroon coloured covered and would also like me to recreate the official Maltese Passport on the front. I had great fun creating the design which looked fab in gold against the dark maroon colour.
Inside Kirstin and Paul supplied loads of photos they wanted to include so I set about laying out how I could make them fit. Kirstin also supplied all the wording she would like which included some text about the "Wedding Week" and activities they had planned as well as a menu for their celebration meal.

Kirstin and Paul are both from Scotland but currently live in Canada. They realised then they decided to get married that lots of family and friends would need to travel to attend so decided to combine their big event with a destination they knew all their guests would love as much as they do. Once they had decided on Malta as their ideal wedding destination it was down to me to create the perfect Malta wedding passport which would continue the theme of their wedding and offer guests a glimpse of what was to come on their big day.
Kirstin and Paul were also keen to include a map with references of their home town, where they live now, where they got engaged and also where they're getting married. I decided it would be best to incorporate these onto one main map rather than include 4 separate ones and the finished result looked great. The gold colour against the cream of the pages worked really well.

Kirstin and Paul were delighted when they saw the finished result and left me this message:

" Our invitations arrived today and we're so happy with them! You did an amazing job and it was a pleasure working with you. "
