Thailand Passport Invitation
- Anna and Christopher -

For their Thailand Passport Invitation, Anna and Christopher wanted to include extra information and photos to really give their guests a glimpse of the beautiful wedding destination they had chosen.

When it came to deciding which passport cover to choose Anna and Christopher wanted to try to include references to both their home countries. Christopher is from Australia and Anna is from Sweden and although they both live in Australia at the moment guests to the wedding would be coming from both countries. I decided to incorporate the Crown elements from the Swedish Passport with the traditional Australian Passport as well as including the additional wording of Sweden and Australia underneath the coat of arms. The finished result worked really well to combine both nationalities onto one passport.

Adding Photos and Maps

Anna sent over some gorgeous photos to use in their Thailand Passport Invitation including one of them riding an elephant! I incorporated these into polariod type snapshots and also sourced some additional photos of Thailand and their wedding resort the Sri Lanta on Klong Nin Beach. I must say the best and worst bits about my job are seeing the beautiful destinations people have chosen to get married in. It makes me simultaneously glad to be a part of creating the introduction to their special day and hugely jealous I'm not going too!

Anna and Christophers destination of Koh Lanta in Thailand is a little bit off the usual tourist route so they wanted to include some details of how to get there for their guests. Along with the text which Anna supplied I designed a simple map showing the island and main towns.

Anna and Christophers destination of Koh Lanta in Thailand is a little bit off the usual tourist route so they wanted to include some details of how to get there for their guests. Along with the text which Anna supplied I designed a simple map showing the island and main towns.

For their RSVP Anna and Christopher wanted to give their guests the option of joining them for some pre arranged activities including a brunch after the wedding and a boat trip with snorkelling and swimming. I incorporated these options into the tear off RSVP card to make it easy for guests to reply and give Anna and Christopher a better idea of numbers for the activities. Finally the finishing touch to the design is usually the passport stamps which are added once the overall layout has been approved. Anna and Christopher had a great colour scheme of orange and blue so I used these as the basis for customising my standard passport stamps. They really complete the design and give it that authentic Passport feel.
