Alexis was looking for a unique Ticket Invitation Wallet for her wedding to Luke in the beautiful Mallorcan countryside.
After a quick phone call to discuss what she had in mind I created this ticket invitation for Alexis and Luke. Using a stunning photograph of their wedding location of Son Marroig in Deia, Mallorca the front had the simple wording"Someone's getting married..." along with a logo for the fictitious airline Mallorca Airways.
Alexis also wanted to include additional information for their guests such as Where to Stay, Getting There, What to do in Mallorca as well as contact details and gift list information. I designed a matching A4 size information sheet which when folded would be the same size as the ticket invitation.
The final element to Alexis and Luke's unique invites was the Ticket Wallet itself. After discussing a few different options and costs Alexis decided that her original idea of an authentic looking ticket wallet was what she wanted. I created the design using the colours, Airline Logo and stripe from the other items so it matched perfectly and was the ideal way of keeping the invitation together.
I have lots of enquiries about this type of invitation as it's such a novel way of sending out details about your wedding. It works particularly well if you have lots of information you want to share with your guests and you've perhaps already used the Passport idea for your Save the Date.
As with all the stationery I design every element of this is completely customisable. The colours, layout, fonts, images etc can all be changed to suit your theme and destination.
I created another wallet for a couple getting married in Monaco, their design can be seen here. Of course this idea doesn't only work as an invitation. If you've already sent your invites why not consider using a ticket wallet to hold additional information for your guests that can be given out when they arrive or check into their hotels. It could include local restaurants they should try, activities which can between your wedding events or even names of the other wedding guests.
Anything you think might make your wedding guests feel even more welcome when they join you for your wedding abroad. If you have a specific idea you'd like to discuss or would like to talk about options for your own Ticket Invitation Wallet please contact me.
