I created this France Ticket Invitation for James and Jessica's wedding in a stunning French Château.
The gorgeous location for James and Jessicas wedding meant it was easy for me to create this pretty invite as the pictures did all the work for me.
When she first contacted me Jessica was keen to see samples of Airline Tickets and Passport Invitations as her destination wedding in France meant that both these ideas would work well. I sent out a selection of examples of each type and a few days later heard back that Jessica and James had decided to opt for the Airline Ticket type for their invites.
Jessica supplied the gorgeous high resolution photos of the Château de Cazenac, where they are getting married, which I used to became the backgrounds of both sides of the invites. The front showed a beautiful shot of the main part of the Château with the simple wording "Someone's getting married" in my new favourite font Monterey.
Jessica followed one of my previous designs for the wording on the invite and tear off RSVP section so it was all pretty straightforward. I added some colour, picking out the pink from the flowers to highlight the frames around the white boxes of text. Two or three proofs later and the design was finished and ready for printing.
Jessica and James were kind enough to write me this lovely testimonial about their France Ticket Invitation...
"We found Kate's website and loved the designs of the airline tickets straight away as getting married abroad enables you to be a bit creative with everything and these fitted in perfect with our ideas! Kate was brilliant to work with and nothing was a trouble for her with throwing ideas to her. She even sent samples and helped us with finding out other information we needed for our invites.
The invites themselves are of a lovely quality and the perfect way to set the scene for our wedding in France!
We would definitely recommend Kate to anyone looking for high quality and interesting wedding invitations!
Thanks so much Kate!
Jess & James"
